The Skinflint of Shickshinney

The Skinflint of Shickshinney

NDCL's Performing Arts Department presented The Skinflint of Shickshinney, a comedy in two acts by Thomas Hischak, on the Sam J. Frankino Stage of the Pat and Janet O'Brien Center for the Performing Arts this year for its Fall Play.

This two-act farce portrays the comically convoluted relationships among the family and acquaintances of Horace Harpagon, a stingy but rich old codger who hides his money from everyone—almost!

The 15-member cast features senior Tom Fogarty as Harpagon. Other cast members include senior Domenic Cregan, juniors Briana Cowman, Kayleigh Marschall, Patrick Moorman, and Zachary Smith; sophomores Carter Callender, Abigail Schmid, Hannah Taylor, and Madelyn Wanke; and freshmen Sarah Azzi, Daniel Fogarty, David Oppenlander, Cara Robbins, and Sarah Uhran.

Performing Arts Department chairperson Ms. Shirley Ivancic Stall directs the production, which is presented through special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc. Assisting Ms. Ivancic Stall, who also serves as a technical director, are science teacher Ms. Melissa Parey, production manager; Family and Consumer Science chairperson Mrs. Mary Wheelock, costume coordinator; and Mr. Andrew Wright '16, technical director.
