Join us for LEAD....an innovative summer program for kids!
LEAD

NDCL’s 2008 Summer LEAD program is an opportunity for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th graders to enjoy hands-on activities in the classroom and outside on NDCL’s 100 acre campus.

DURING BOTH WEEKS:
Students will explore and investigate science, enjoy creative writing, photography, and the arts, and expand their computer skills.  During both weeks the children will create a keepsake chronicling their achievements and remembrances during the days at NDCL’s summer LEAD program.

HOW WILL CHILDREN BE GROUPED:
If possible, 5th and 6th grade children will be in one group while 7th and 8th graders will be in a separate group. All groups will be with certified teachers and depending on size, assisted by high school students.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT:
All registrations with payment are due by May 16, 2008.
No refunds after June 2, 2008.
$85.00 covers one week’s program.
If a child attends 4 or less days of a week, the cost is still $85.00. Admission: First come basis. When spaces are filled, applicants will be placed on a waiting list. Click here for Registration & Medical Forms.

EARN A DEGREE IN GREEN

During LEAD’S second week, students will learn how to adopt better habits and ways of doing things to support the Environmental Movement.  Students will also learn how to be responsible and care for our world.  They will also aspire to do more to protect each other and the environment.
