NDCL LAW: Following their impressive performance at last Friday's regional trials, our Legal Lions Blue Team qualified for the state competition next month. For the second consecutive year, NDCL's Mock Trial Team has advanced to the Ohio Mock Trial State Competition. Only 27 high schools throughout Ohio qualified for the state finals in Columbus.
The return trip to the state capital comes after the Lions' strong performance in regional trials at the Old Lakeside Courthouse in Cleveland last Friday. Judges in that competition named Tom Fogarty and Antonia Mysyk as best attorneys and Briana Cowman and Emily Callahan as best witnesses.
The Lions will now prepare to compete on March 9-11 at the Franklin County Courthouse. You can watch a video capsule of the fictional legal case for this year's trial here.
