NDCL Parent & Student Ambassador Programs Begin

On August 4 almost 50 students, and on August 5 nearly 25 parents met with Michael Suso, the Director of Admissions and Tuition Assistance at Notre Dame Cathedral-Latin School, to discuss what they loved about NDCL and how to share this information with others. The orientation trained the attendees to become either Parent or Student Ambassadors in the NDCL program. The Ambassador Program introduces new and prospective families to NDCL resources, policies, and services through the guidance supplied by parents and students.

What makes the program special is that the sophomore, junior and senior ambassadors, the faces and spirit of NDCL, exemplify the school and its values to young people and families during various functions such as Open Houses and Shadow Days. They share NDCL’s commitment to its Core Values of Justice, Respect, Community, Integrity and Excellence with young and old alike, while introducing them to “insider” information that will make their experience at NDCL go smoothly.

Parent ambassadors are also important because they provide assistance to other parents seeking information. They also welcome parents to events, participate in outreach for prospective families, help expand parent and community involvement, and provide feedback to make sure NDCL continues as a welcoming place for all. The Parent and Student Ambassadors are a vital and integral part of the NDCL family.

For more information about NDCL or the ambassador program, please contact Michael Suso, Director of Admissions at (440) 279-1088 or [email protected].
