3rd Annual NDCL 5K and Fun Run/Walk

Over 45 runners of all ages participated in NDCL’s 3rd Annual 5K on Saturday, August 11th. While many competed in the 5K, a few took part in the 1-mile fun run/walk. Special thanks to Jerry Hippley and the many parent volunteers who continue to make for a fun event for alumni, students, and the local community. This is a Challenging 5K single loop Cross Country Course with a 1 Mile Fun Run and Walk.

This event attracts runners and walkers of all ages. Many different age groups gives everyone a good shot at taking home an engraved medal. The 5K is run on NDCL’s cross-country course (dirt and grass) and provides a challenging yet fulfilling experience. The 1-mile fun run/walk is geared towards the walkers and those more comfortable with a short sprint. Refreshments are provided and the event concludes with a short awards ceremony.
