10th Annual NDCL Golf Classic raises over $17.000 for NDCL student scholarships Gray skies and scattered showers did not dampen the spirits of 130 golfers at the 10th Annual NDCL Golf Classic at Little Mountain CC in Concord on July 19th. $17,800 was raised for student scholarships at NDCL--a new record!

Golfers enjoyed a new putting contest with a chance at $50,000, Hole in One contest, skins game, and other games and raffles that sent more than a few home happy. Prizes included golf passes to Wicked Woods, Astorhurst, Quail Hollow, Little Mountain, and Stonewater, in addition to Indians packages and other door and skill prizes.

The chicken and ribs lunch was provided by Aladdin Catering. Special thanks to the event sponsors listed to the right--26 in all.Eagle and Birdie sponsors were also represented on Little Mountain's GPS boards as well as hole signage.

Congratulations to the winning foursome--Chris Mekota `99, Josh Mekota `01, Mark Mekota, and Todd Music on their score of 57. Their names will be engraved on the NDCL Golf Classic trophy on permanent display in NDCL's Athletic Center.
