The Lions Mane Event Roared…and Rocked!

The 19th annual Lion's Mane Event, Denim Diamonds, glittered and shined!

The 425 event guests were wow’d as they entered a magically transformed NDCL nightclub. Outfitted with bouncers and motorcycles, billboards and graffiti, guitars and music videos, and glitter everywhere the evening sparkled!! Excitement was in the air as attendees tried their luck with games and raffles--one lucky winner left with a 6 carat diamond tennis bracelet! Choices abounded as guests perused and bid at the silent auction tables while sipping cosmopolitan martinis and tasting many delectable hors d’oeuvres. And, energetic bidding resulted in winners of wine tastings, a cool Raptor ATV and a lovable goldendoodle puppy (to name just a few!)

And while enjoying friends, a trendy gourmet meal and great entertainment,
our guests danced their way to a new record for event proceeds--$105,000
for student scholarships and cafeteria renovation!

This spectacular event was made possible through many helping hands -
tireless committee members, enthusiastic student volunteers—and, our
generous donors, advertisers and sponsors! "I am so happy that our families
