The 17th Annual Lion’s Mane Event
March 15th, 2008
Over 400 parents, alumni, community leaders, corporate partners, faculty,
and staff attended the 17th Annual Lion's Mane Event on March 15th at Landerhaven. The Lion's Mane Event is NDCL's largest fundraising event
and benefits all students at NDCL.
The NDCL Stage Band opened the evening with a variety of musical selections during the social hour, then DJ Phil Lewandowski `07 continued to
entertain the guests throughout the evening. The silent and live
auctions,
in addition to the Chinese Auction, raffles, and other sideboards
made for
a fun and exciting event for all those in attendance. Dave and
Shirley Pecjak
were the lucky winners of the inaugural Lion's Pride Raffle,
in
which
they will receive free tuition for 2008-09.
Executive Caterers at Landerhaven prepared a wonderful meal of beef tenderloin and chicken marsala, in addition to the beautiful antipasto displays, desserts, and other menu items.

and Karin Orosz for their time and talents in making this year's Lion's Mane
Event one of the best yet! Also thanks to Phil Fogarty `76 for leading the Sponsorship Committee, and the many parent volunteers who made this
event happen.
