Pride and Prejudice


NDCL's Performing Arts Department presented Pride and Prejudice, the award-winning adaptation of Jane Austen's novel by Rebecca Gellott, on the Sam J. Frankino Stage of the Pat and Janet O'Brien Center for the Performing Arts this year for its Fall Play.

This traditional period piece, Pride and Prejudice , depicts the "four proposals, three  rejections, two marriages, and one scandal" which makes up the classic tale, according to Pioneer Drama Service.
Leading the cast of 24 students are senior Elena Dahlhausen as Elizabeth, junior Carter Calender as Mr. Darcy, and sophomore Daniel Fogarty and junior Hannah Taylor as Mr. and Mrs. Bennet. Performing Arts Department Chairperson Ms. Shirley Ivancic Stall directs the production.
