Junior Brian Bates earned his state berth by taking second place in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:55.86.
The 4 x 400-meter relay team of seniors Tim Herczog and Andrew Ryan and juniors Javon King and Danny Yanick will join Brian on the trip to Columbus after posting a fourth-place regional meet finish of 3:24.60—a new school record for the event.
