Artist: Junior Anna Tokich

Seven NDCL student artists recently earned recognition in the Cleveland Institute of Art's Scholastic Art Competition, a highly competitive program that drew more than 3,000 entries from more than 1,800 students in the region's top art programs.

Senior Victoria Brown and junior Anna Tokich won prestigious Silver Key awards for their photography entries, which will be displayed at the Cleveland Institute of Art's Reinberger Gallery from January 21-31.

These students won honorable-mention awards: juniors Sadie Judd, Sophia Kroto, and Barry Markiewich; and seniors Grace Koenig and Lauren Minerd.

The award winners are the students of Art Department Chairperson Mrs. Mary Ann Sedivy and art teachers Miss Claire Raack and Mr. George Yaniga.
