Plain Dealer Top Workplaces 2022 Award

For the fourth consecutive year, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School has been named a winner of the Top Workplaces Award by The Plain Dealer.

Earning the Top Workplaces 2022 honor is a prestigious distinction with only 220 employers in the Plain Dealer's broad distribution region making this year's list, which appeared in the newspaper's June 26 edition.

The list is based solely on employee feedback gathered through a third-party survey administered by Energage, LLC, a leading provider of technology-based employee engagement tools. The anonymous survey uniquely measures 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization, including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.

"The employee experience needs to be on the mission-critical list. Leaders who embrace a people-first culture will benefit greatly," said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. "Culture drives performance."

"To win the Top Workplaces Award for four years in a row—during some of the most challenging times any of us has ever experienced—is truly an exceptional achievement," commented Principal Joseph A. Waler. "The impressive award serves as an independent validation of our mission-driven focus to support our staff as they work hard every day to do what is best for our students, no matter what."

"As we enter NDCL's 35th anniversary year, the Top Workplaces Award stands as a tribute to all of the dedicated, caring professionals who create the thriving, supportive, and successful school culture our students and staff enjoy every day," Waler added.
