Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School celebrated 170 members of its Class of 2024 during the school's 34th annual commencement ceremony on Friday, 5.24.24 at the Mentor Fine Arts Center. In conferring diplomas, Principal Mrs. Jodie Ricci celebrated the 100% graduation rate of this year's senior class. "I am beyond proud to share that each and every member of the Class of 2024 will cross this stage tonight to receive a diploma. This year, no Lion has been left behind," beamed Mrs. Ricci who is finishing her first year as Principal of NDCL.
Senior Sophia Purgar, this year's commencement speaker, shared a beautiful speech about the power of love and transformation. "Every moment we have lived through and everything we have done; we have done in love. Love is the root of our faith, the core of our values, and the spirit of our class. We have all experienced moments where life spun us off our feet and ruined our plans - some universal, like the pandemic, and some personal. We have seen the power of the moments in between, the ones that changed us into the people gathered here today. And still, we kept love at the center of our lives," said Sophia.
NDCL thanks Mr. Dave Jevnikar and G-TV for taking and posting photos from commencement night. Click

Congratulations to the class of 2024 for all that they have accomplished. We cannot wait to see how they transform the world, like Jesus did, by living the truth in love.
