NDCL's Academic Decathlon team hauled in 21 individual medals and finished in second place in regional competition on January 21.
The Lions won six gold medals, 10 silver medals, four bronze medals, and an individual overall medal. The team swept the medal standings in the math and essay competitions.
Social Studies Department Chairperson Mrs. Molly Schneider and English teacher Miss Katie Ours advise the team.
