NDCL Students Attend 4th Annual “App Fest”
More than 80 seniors signed up to attend the 4thAnnual App Fest from August 4th- 6th in NDCL’s Library Media Center.
The annual program allows incoming high school seniors an excellent opportunity to meet with School Counselors and College Admission Representatives, and to receive personal attention in completing their college applications and essays.
Amanda O’Reilly, a senior at NDCL in the fall said the App Fest was very helpful to her, “because she could talk to the counselors about writing her essay.” Shante Harding, another participant, learned that “when writing the essay, the most important thing is to be yourself.”
Colleges and universities represented at App Fest include: Allegheny College, Case Western Reserve University, Gannon University, Hiram College, John Carroll University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, University of Cincinnati, University of Findlay, Ursuline College, Wittenberg University and Xavier University.
