National Honor Society inducts 66 new members

During a ceremony in the auditorium of the Notre Dame Educational Center on Monday evening, the NDCL Chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 66 new members.
 
To be considered for NHS membership at NDCL, students need to submit applications describing their personal pursuit of the four pillars of the organization: character, scholarship, leadership, and service. These characteristics have been associated with membership in the organization since it began in 1921. Both juniors and seniors are eligible to apply. Under the direction of NHS adviser and science teacher Mrs. Kay Zurbuch, faculty members review the applications and select qualified students for NHS membership.
