Freshmen, sophomores ace state graduation tests

2-3 years before graduation!
Freshmen, sophomores ace state graduation tests
Score reports from the most recent administration of examinations required by the Ohio Department of Education reveal that 97% of our sophomores and 94% of our freshmen have successfully cleared this testing hurdle for a diploma—two to three years before graduation.

According to Academic Success Center Director Sister Michelle Kelly, who coordinates this aspect of NDCL's testing program, 100% of our juniors and seniors have exceeded the scores set by the state for diploma eligibility.
"We are confident that our underclassmen will reach the 100% mark as well," Sister Michelle said.

"Our students' performance is a credit to their hard work, the expertise of our teachers, and the strength of our curriculum," added Principal Mr. Joseph A. Waler.

"Of course, NDCL’s mission goes far beyond just helping students earn high school diplomas," Mr. Waler stressed. "With the testing requirement behind them, students can now focus fully on the more important goals of learning significant content and developing sound reasoning skills that will serve them well in college and throughout life."

Parents of freshmen and sophomores will receive reports of their children's testing performance in the mail next week.
