Students complete youth leadership program
Three NDCL students celebrated their graduation on Wednesday evening from Leadership Lake County's Junior Leadership Program.
Sophomore Jane Koci and juniors Caden Linnert and Rachael Debevec worked with other students and adult community leaders to hone their own leadership skills so that they can engage more fully in the local civic community. They participated in monthly program days that provided students with a behind-the-scenes look at life in Lake County through on-site visits, guest speakers, and experiential learning activities.
For their leadership project, Vince, Rachael, and Jane constructed a wellness garden for the residents of Tapestry Senior Living Community in Wickliffe.
