Honor Roll reflects students’ high achievement

Two-thirds of NDCL's 717 students achieved honor-roll status based upon their first-semester grades, according to a report shared this week with our school community by Assistant Principal Mrs. Denice Teeples.
"We are proud not only of our students' achievement but also of the effort, determination, and goal-oriented focus that made their achievement possible," Mrs. Teeples said.

A breakdown of the data reveals that 25% of our students earned First Honors (4.00 GPA and above), 30% earned Second Honors (3.50-3.99 GPA), and 12% earned a place on the Merit Roll (3.25-3.49 GPA). A more detailed analysis by grade level appears in the charts prepared by Mrs. Teeples.

All honor-roll students received certificates signed by Principal Mr. Joseph A. Waler to mark their achievement.

"My index finger still has an indentation in it from signing nearly 500 honor certificates!" Mr. Waler quipped.
