Students will move into the director's chair next weekend as NDCL's Performing Arts Department presents Wings 2022, our annual production of student-directed one-act plays.

Junior Bailey Rice with the assistance of classmate Victoria Baioni will direct Whitney Teubner and John Leverett's High School Judge & Jury, a comical account of a group of students who turn their cafeteria into courtroom to settle wild cases ranging from missing mascot heads to colorful yearbook photos to fictious girlfiends.

Cast members include seniors Tyler Drago, Madeline Kuhlman, and Brian Picciuto; juniors Allison Geigerich, Ava Knapp, Alexandria Nevison, Owen Nipper, and Sofia Thornhill; sophomores Kaylee Daley, Evan Filson, Tuscani Orris, and Lillian Swiatkowski; and freshmen Andrew Fordyce, Elaine Hammerhofer, Mikayla Mickey, and Hunter Zupancic.

The curtain opens in the Pat and Janet O'Brien Center for the Performing Arts at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7. There is no charge for NDCL students with their IDs. Admission for all others is $10.00, payable by cash or check (no credit cards) at the box office 30 minutes before each performance. There will be no advance or online sales.

While Wings is truly a student-directed production, directors receive limited support from Ms. Shirley Ivancic Stall, who directs our annual fall play and spring musical.

High School Judge & Jury comes to NDCL's Sam J. Frankino Stage through special arrangement with Playscripts, Inc. 450 Seventh Avenue, New York, NY.
