NDCL receives special flag flown by U.S. Air Force
PATRIOTIC PRESENTATION: Sergeant Paul Tanner of the United States Air Force Reserve shares a special US flag with Mr. Waler during Tuesday's video announcements.

Sergeant Paul Tanner of the United States Air Force Reserve visited our campus on Tuesday to present a commemorative U.S. flag that was flown in NDCL's honor on missions over Kuwait, Syria, and Iraq in June.

Sergeant Tanner, the father of junior Alexandra Tanner, recently returned from a six-month deployment in the Middle East.

During the presentation to Principal Mr. Joseph A. Waler during our daily announcements broadcast, Sergeant Tanner explained that NDCL's flag was flown by the crew of CROME 77 while deployed at Kuwait's Ali Al Salem Air Base in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, the international military intervention against terrorism.

Thank you for your service, Sergeant Tanner!
