Lions sprint toward OATCC state tournament
Seven Lions are among an elite group of student-athletes to qualify for the Ohio Association of Track and Field Coaches Association's Indoor State Championship at Spire Institute in Geneva this weekend.

Of 538 schools throughout the state eligible to participate, only the top 24 athletes in each event make the cut for the championship tournament. Good luck to these Lions who will represent NDCL:

Sophomore Anthony Ciecierski in the 3200-meter run
Sophomore Megan Palinski in the 20-pound weight throw
Junior Brian Bates in the 1600 and 800-meter runs
Juniors Danny Yanick and Javon King and seniors Tim Herczog and Andrew Ryan in the 4 x 200-meter and 4 x 400-meter relays
Tim Herczog in the 400-meter run
Javon King in the long jump

Mr. Ralph White coaches the NDCL indoor track team with assistance from English teacher Mr. Charles Bohnak, academic coach Mr. Ray Rockwell, and Miss Kendra Zbinovec '13.
