NDCL's Fall Play: The Miracle Worker Nov. 4-6!

Miracle Worker shines light on transformational, inspiring story of Helen Keller, Annie Sullivan

NDCL's Performing Arts Department will present The Miracle Worker by William Gibson on November 4 and 5 at 7:00 PM and November 6 at 2:00 PM on the Sam J. Frankino Stage in the Pat and Janet O'Brien Center for the Performing Arts.             
The Miracle Worker carries the audience into the daily disappointments and miraculous breakthrough of deaf and blind Helen Keller under the guidance of her teacher, Anne Sullivan, who sees a mind and spirit waiting to be rescued from dark, tortured silence.
            
Starring in lead roles are freshman Celia Aldom as Helen Keller and senior Sofia Thornhill as Annie Sullivan. The cast also includes seniors Jordan James, Bailey Rice, and Owen Nipper; juniors Evan Filson and Lara Vatandoust; sophomores Andrew Fordyce, Mikayla Mickey, Marissa Walker, and Hunter Zupancic; and freshmen Julia Fitzwater and Mark LaForest.
            
Supporting the performances are these production staff members: seniors Alexandria Nevison and Jordan James; sophomores Elaine Hammerhofer, Andrew Fordyce, Marissa Walker, and Riley McCarthy; and freshmen Alle Gehring, Frances Miller, and Magdalena Miocic.
            
Ms. Shirley Ivancic Stall directs the production with assistance from speech teacher Mr. Leo Bond, English teacher Miss Michalena Mezzopera '14, and math teacher Mrs. Beth Ward.
                                                                                                                       
                        
Tickets, at $13 each, will be sold at the box office prior to each performance.
The box office accepts cash and checks only for ticket purchases—no credit cards.
