Seniors connect classroom learning with religious art during trip to Cleveland Museum of Art
Our entire senior class visited the Cleveland Museum of Art this week to connect their classroom study of world religions to the museum's impressive collection of religious art.
We split the 186-member class in two groups, with one group visiting the museum on Wednesday and the other on Thursday. Theology Department Chairperson Mrs. Michelle Nowak and Theology teachers Mrs. Beth Riley and Mr. Gregg Stovicek coordinated the trip, which included a family-style luncheon at Angelo's Nido Italia Restaurant in Little Italy.
CARVING CONNECTIONS: Seniors Cole Webster (left), Joe Stolarik, Joey Valentino, and Ryan Pesho connect their study of Hinduism to sculptures of gods and goddesses during the senior class field trip to the Cleveland Museum of Art this week.
