Legal Lions advance to state mock trial tournament
For the seventh time in the past eight years, NDCL's Legal Lions mock trial team has advanced to the Ohio Mock Trial State Competition.
The return trip to Columbus comes after Team Blue of the Legal Lions won both of their trials in regional competition at the Lake County Courthouse on February 17.

After four separate trials, individual awards won by the Legal Lions included senior Victoria Baioni and junior Tuscani Orris, as best attorneys and freshmen Quinton Linnert and Violet Valis as best witnesses.
The Lions will now prepare to compete in the state elimination tournament on March 9-10 at the Franklin County Courthouse. The state finals will be argued at the Supreme Court of Ohio on March 11.
