168 members of the class of 2027 accepted their role in advancing NDCL's mission and core values during the Freshman Induction Ceremony on Monday, 9.18.23 in the Chapel of the Notre Dame Education Center, just up the hill from NDCL. The ceremony was led by seniors Elizabeth Alexander, Grayson Baird, Landon Burdick, Kaleigh Kuenzig, Grace Ostrosky, Sophia Purgar, Kaitlyn Valentic, and Eva Vukovic. In her remarks to the class of 2027, Mrs. Jodie Ricci, NDCL Principal, reminded the community that "God has a plan for each one of us and HIS plan is greater than anything we could ever imagine." Senior Kaitlyn Valentic, President of the NDCL Student Activities Board (SAB), encouraged the class of 2027 to get involved, to support each other in faith, and to take our beautiful mission to places outside the walls of the building. To symbolize their new role in our school community, freshmen received personalized framed replicas of the transform mural in the NDCL lobby as well as insignia pins from NDS President Dr. Jacqueline Hoynes and NDCL Principal Jodie Ricci.
