NDCL Robotics Team Clinches a Spot in the State Tournament!

NDCL's robotics team swept the regional qualifying meet, 4-0-1, clinching a spot in the state tournament in March. Of the 24 teams that competed in the regional tournament at Kirtland High School last weekend, the Lions achieved a high score of 209, currently the second highest-scoring match in Ohio. The Lions rank 2nd in Ohio and 83rd in the entire nation. The team also won the Control Award for excellent programming of their autonomous routines. The program was written by our lead programmer and student co-leader Catherine Orazem with support from senior co-leader Dylan White. A special thank you to our robotics coaches, Mr. Zack Geizer '14, Mrs. Ashley Kelm, Mr. Tony Hodun, and Mr. Richard Ruggeri. Congratulations!
