NDCL Faith & Justice

The NDCL Faith & Justice class hosted an Interfaith panel discussion this week. Esteemed leaders of various faith communities engaged the students in a conversation about the importance of interfaith communication and action. The panel encouraged the students to embrace experiences that allow them to think, reflect, and question our society. Leaders included Reverend Dr. David Cobb, senior pastor at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Cleveland, Reverend Robin Craig, retired Presbyterian minister working with several churches on mental health and interfaith issues, Rabbi Matt Eisenberg, Rabbi for Temple Israel Ner Tamid in Beachwood, Ohio, Sister Jacquelyn Gusdane, SND, who is involved in the Catholic Charities Migration & Refugee Services and The Refugee Response, Reverend Dr. Napoleon Harris, the senior pastor of the historic Antioch Baptist Church in Cleveland, and Imam Ramez Islambouli, adjunct professor of Islamic law at the Law School at Case, and the president of MACE Islamic Center in Richmond Heights. Thank you to our community partners who help to support enriching experiences for our NDCL students.
