Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin is excited to announce the appointment of Ms. Rachel Breckenridge as the new Manager of Athletic Communications. Rachel comes to us from Theil college where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Journalism and a Minor in Religion. Rachel was the captain of the Thiel women's basketball team, a 3-year starter, and valedictorian of her graduating class. She received numerous awards throughout her time at Theil, including a nomination for the NCAA Woman of the Year award in 2022. Her professional experience includes serving as an assistant women's basketball coach, housing coordinator, and resident director at Thiel. Rachel has served in various athletic roles including in-game PA, play-by-play announcer, writer for post-game recaps, and host of the "Tomcat Report." In addition, she was a sportswriter for the student newspaper and hosted her own sports radio show on WXTC 88.1 FM in PA. "Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge in athletic communications from her college experience," said NDCL Athletic Director Jason Baxter. "She will serve as a great role model for our NDCL students and help to strengthen our website and athletic communication platforms."
