This past Thursday, 3.7.24, NDCL joined sixteen Catholic High Schools and over 300 students from the greater Cleveland area in hosting the Building Bridges: Brothers and Sisters in Christ summit at John Carroll University. This summit was planned by Catholic Schools for Peace and Justice (CSPJ). CSPJ is a network of students and educators from Catholic high schools in the Diocese of Cleveland that is rooted in Catholic Social Teaching and works to promote peace and justice in our communities. Brandon Chrostowski, founder and CEO of EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute was the event's Keynote Speaker. Brandon shared his vision of second chances for those who were formerly incarcerated and encouraged students to use their talents to build bridges and help those in need. A special thank you to our faculty advisors, Ms. Frabotta '86, Mrs. Nicholson '02, and Mr. Vanek '13 for their support in organizing this event, and to our NDCL student Ambassadors who helped to plan the summit; Quinton Linnert, Kaitlyn Nguyen, Annie Stief, Makenna Marriott, and Page Pavosevic.
