Career Counseling

Career Counseling

Counselors work closely with students to help identify potential careers and colleges that align with each student’s unique goals, interests, and academic profile. Students take a career interest inventory through Naviance during their sophomore year. Counselors use the results of the career assessments when meeting with students to help students generate possible college majors of interest and career plans.

Each spring, sophomores and juniors participate in NDCL’s Career Week to learn about the array of career options available to them. Sponsored by the Office of Advancement, Career Week gives students the chance to engage in roundtable discussions with professionals in education and social services, information technology, healthcare, legal and protective services, science and engineering, business, and arts and communication.
