The NDCL drama program instills respect, support, and reliance of self and others. The program allows students to bring dramatic or musical material to life, seek interpretations, improvise, solve problems, and think "outside of the box".
The NDCL Performing Arts Department presents three productions each year:
The Fall Play, either a drama or comedy, begins the school year.
Fall 2026,The Theatre department invites you to attend our production of Alice in Wonderland based on the novel by Lewis Carroll. Alice has fallen down a rabbit hole and found herself in a strange world where nothing is quite as it seems. Here she encounters a host of unforgettable characters, from the frantic White Rabbit and grinning Cheshire Cat to the eccentric Mad Hatter and the bombastic Queen of Hearts. As Alice races from one absurd adventure to the next, she must find her way home or remain forever lost in Wonderland.
Directed by Mr. Leo Bond, Showtimes are
- Friday November 6th at 7:00pm,
- Saturday the 7th at 7:00pm, and
- Sunday, November 8th at 2:00pm and tickets will be $10.00 and can be purchased here.

Patrons of the Arts can check out the new Season Pass which will grant access to any show for the Fall Play, Spring Musical, and WINGs production in the Spring linked here.
The Musical, a large production, is presented each March and is directed by Ms. Shirley Ivancic Stall. The show is part of the Ovations Awards competition for excellent musical theatre in Geauga county, and NDCL has won numerous awards over the years.
Wings, student-directed one acts, present performances in May and offers selected students the opportunity to direct under the guidance of Ms. Ivancic Stall.
