Drama

The NDCL drama program instills respect, support, and reliance of self and others. The program allows students to bring dramatic or musical material to life, seek interpretations, improvise, solve problems, and think "outside of the box".

The NDCL Performing Arts Department presents three productions each year:

The Fall Play, either a drama or comedy, begins the school year and is directed by Ms. Shirley Ivancic Stall.

The Musical, a large production, is presented each March and is directed by Ms. Shirley Ivancic Stall. The show is part of the Ovations Awards competition for excellent musical theatre in Geauga county, and NDCL has won numerous awards over the years.

Wings, student-directed one acts, present performances in May and offers selected students the opportunity to direct under the guidance of Ms. Ivancic Stall.
