|At this time, the Lion’s Mane Event 2020 Online Auction is postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope to gather to raise funds for our students and school in the future once this crisis passes. Our hearts and prayers are with all who are suffering in this time.|
Dear Families, Alumni, and Friends of Notre Dame Schools,
In so many ways, I thank you for your support of our students and the mission of our schools “to educate leaders to transform the world.”
Unfortunately, there are some things in life we just can't control, including the growing concerns surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Given the clear direction from Governor DeWine today, for the common good, we will not be hosting our Mane Event on-campus on Saturday, March 28, 2020. However, our current and future students depend upon your support. For the common good of our school community and because of our need to help them is great, we will be hosting our Mane Event through an online auction at a point in the near future.
We did not take this decision lightly and we know many of you will be disappointed, as are we. We are deeply grateful to our Mane Event Committee Chairs, Lisa Callahan, Kelly Johnson, and Tracee Zitnik, and to our dedicated volunteers Mary Jo Burwinkle, Renee Salem, Alissa Effner, Jaime Miller, and Erin Ezzo – all of whom have dedicated countless hours to planning a wonderful evening.
While we can't gather on March 28th, we remain committed to our goal of raising funds for our students and for the Holy Family scholarship fund. We need your help meeting that goal! Even if you haven't purchased a ticket yet, there's still time to register for online bidding; if you already purchased tickets, look for a separate email with updates.
At a date sometime in the near future, we will have an online auction giving you plenty of time to go online to explore and bid on some fabulous items. You can also "raise your paddle" and help support the Holy Family Fund, which ensures that no child shall be denied a Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin or Notre Dame Elementary education because of unexpected hardship.
If you have questions, please contact us in the Advancement Office: Keven Krajnak, Director of Advancement 440-279-1068.
Even as we face this challenge together, we know that with your support we can continue to raise the funds we need to ensure that every deserving child and young adult is transformed for life by a Notre Dame Schools education.
