Special Needs

NDCL serves students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) through the Jon Peterson scholarships for students with special needs available through the Ohio Department of Education. A full-time intervention specialist works with these students in a special intervention block to help them succeed in their regular NDCL curriculum. Students with disabilities and students with certain medical or psychological diagnoses may be eligible for academic accommodations for both classroom instruction and assessments, including standardized testing.
